(Also - I'm getting kind of tired of ICanHas, mostly because most caps now tend to look all the same and not really funny, but when I stumbled on this cap this morning I had my first autentic (ICHC) laugh in quite a while. *g* (and this one SO reminded me of Monkey Island 1.) )


...this is a weird entry, I know it is, but. Er. Would you happen to have a good recipe for french toast? And/or pancakes? It's just... I'm curious to make them, and I know I'd probably found a thousand recipes around, but... I don't know, I tend to be instictively wary of those. :P So, anyone with a trusted recipe to share? ♥

...okay, this is not really pimping, but I HAD to wish THE HAPPIEST BIRTHDAY OF ALL BIRTHDAYS to midnitemarauder!! I'm sorry I'm so late - but I hope you had the most BRILLIANT of days! ♥♥♥

2. pencilslingers has its first challenge! :D (Jeez, see what happens I'm not online for most of the week? D: I miss stuff like this, that's what!) The theme was Cuthbert (♥♥♥), and sadly it's almost over - I think either today, or tomorrow until the new one is posted. Wah, now I'm curious to see the next! And I hope I'll be able to do something for it, too. Because there's this thing called snarry_games that...




3. The RS Games archive I mentioned aaaages ago is now done! ♥ I posted it directly on remusxsirius, it made more sense... Boy, I just hope it'll work for other people as well as for me ;P

5. Oh! Right, the Torchwood drama. ...that deserves its own entry, though. *g*

My co-chef, co-marauder and wholly adored joubones is taking commissions! Because you see, as it turns out, she's not just a wonderful person - she's also an AWESOME ARTIST.

I mean - do you remember the Hayseed I linked to, a while ago? Have you seen her Charlie? Her preparatory sketches for The Misters (I love those way, way too much)? It's Beautiful, Tom, Thomas and cat? And that's only some of my favorites! I'm not just pimping the hell out of her - I adore the hell out of her. ;D And when you see her works, I'm sure enough you'll understand why I do! ♥

If you are one of those who enjoys the Remus/Sirius pairing, there are so many goodies that rs_games has been dishing out these past days, isn't that true? Enough to keep you warm, cosy and entertained for days on end. ♥

But isn't it almost like viewing the shop of a bakery shop? There are so many things that look appetizing, but more often than not, you can't take them all - you have to make a choice and you might end up asking the man/woman at the counter for advice.

Here is an attempt to do just that. :) Below you will find a comprehensive archive of the submissions posted so far - limited to my team's entries. The lovely girls of Team MWPP will have to make their own, if they like the idea ;P - which you will be able to browse by type, by prompt, by genre, by title and by rating. (Order-obsessed? Me? (Which, in English, would translate to Broad-bean!Sirius (hey, that's what the vocabulary tells me) and Bean!Remus. Yeah, I know. No, don't ask me "oh god why", I don't remember. Wish I did.) Which we still have to bring to life, come to think of it...) I so, so hope you've spent a great day, doll! I adore you so damn much. :D And I'm so, so sorry I haven't got anything for you :( I so wanted to, but... well, things got a bit out of hand. I'll do something for you later on - in fact, if I was you, I'd start worrying in advance.

On other news, I made Dad watch Wallace and Gromit and the Were-Rabbit - he cottoned on a lot sooner than I did, by the by, but laughed half as much (which, yeah, in my book means that I win, and don't you make that face) - and when asked about the movie, he answered by asking me what they (he & his colleagues) could do for a friend who's retiring next week.

...no, I didn't see the connection either, until he explained to me that for another one of them, who retired a while ago, they'd made a mini statue, out of-- something close but not quite plastiline, I don't know how you call it, portraying a little rat standing up, with a flag in hand and giving the "salute" sign.

Which I suppose doesn't make it a whole lot clearer than before, not if I don't add that my dad works as a technician in the lab at the local uni's Anatomy faculty. They also make experiments (...not like that, mainly studying animal muscle reflexes and the like) on small animals - like rats (hence the mini-statue) or frogs. Which is what the man worked with.

*scratches head* They wanted to put together something funny for him, of whatever kind. Been trying to think about it, but haven't come up with anything yet. (Not really surprising, that. If ideas come to me, it always happens when I'm not looking for them.)

Completely G, worksafe and what-have-you - and also bloody hilarious. :D Never liked Kreacher quite that much. (Which, okay, is not a feat, but you're missing the point.)


Now, don't ask me how because I can't remember already, but I stumbled again upon a meme that has been tempting me for quite a while.

Humour me? Pleeeeeease?

1) Make a list of 15 characters first, and keep it to yourself for the moment. (That way you're not leading the questions asked to fit the characters.)

2) Ask people to post questions in the comments.

For example:

"4, 6, 12 & 15 are starting a band together, what is their name and what kind of music do they play? Also, who's the lead singer, and what instruments do the others play?"

3) After people have asked enough questions, round them up and answer the questions using the 15 characters you selected beforehand, and then post them.

I've clearly forgotten how to draw smiles. They all come across looking like grimaces. (And if they're not laughing they's fishes.) Oh well.
